Out of reach in two for the High Handicapper, the drive and second shots are uncomplicated as long as you avoid the out of bounds on the Left off the Tee. The approach shot requires a little more finesse as the green is quite narrow as you play up and into it. Miss left and you have an impossible chip to a green that runs away from you, a miss to the right leaves a reasonable chance of salvaging par from the bunker. The green is notorious for three putting, so leave the ball below the hole if possible. Bunkers guard the front & right side of the green.

Risk & Reward. Only 330yds, but a Pond with big old tree's Left & Right of it awaits your tee Shot at 230yds. Tee shot should be hit up the right half of the fairway, leaving a short iron into the Green. Bunker protects the front left of the Green. Beware when Pin is at the Back.

Don’t let the beauty of this hole fool you, green it a must hit. Out of Bounds on left off the Tee, and plenty of Tree's on the right-hand side all the way up to the Green. Very tough up and down anywhere around this green.

Tough Par 5, as your drive has to be straight for al least the first 170yds otherwise RE LOAD. The second shot is all about positioning, for the third water lies in wait on the left from 125m up to the green, with clusters of trees that can hamper wider shots on the right-hand side. Sloping green from back to front, can see a birdie opportunity ending in bogey.

A strong par 4 that turns slightly left to right. The drive needs to be guided passed or over the big old tree in the middle of the fairway. If you are lucky enough to find the main landing area after your drive, you are looking at about 90m to the flag, otherwise short iron for 2nd & 3rd shots. The green is not sloped so good chance for Par here.

Underestimate this 133m par 3 at your peril. A short iron for most, hitting the dance floor is the only option. shots just missing the target are likely to find one of the three bunkers guarding the green, 1 left & 2 right.

This hole presents little trouble off tee, so big hitters are able to open the shoulders for a big hit to go for the green with a short iron for their 2nd shot. Us mere mortals will have a wood or long iron for our 2nd, trying to avoid Water on the left & woodland on the right. Bunker guards Green on the left, but the green is relatively flat so great chance for Par, but take time to study the putt as there are some subtle falls in the green you might not see at first glance.

Bunkers on the left and right, as well as woodland on the right-hand side protects the fairway but the fairway is generous. A pond awaits your second shot, as well as a sloping Green from back to front. Subtle breaks whatever Pin Placement in play.

The tee shot is visually demanding with OB left, Pond middle and Stitch's Dyke & Woodland on right. The Woodland runs all the way up to the 100yd pole. For the golfer that doesn’t go for it, a generous layup area awaits leaving a short iron to the elevated green over water that runs from right to left.

A long and difficult par four that does justice to its Index 1 status, but a generous fairway, as long as you avoid woodland on right from Tee, and woodland on left with your 2nd shot, as well as fairway bunkers left & right. It’s easier to be putting uphill on this hole than downhill.

A long iron is usually required to negotiate the 168m that plays longer than it looks. If you do not hit the target in one, and up and down is a tough challenge from bunkers at back & right, and Seery's Hollow in front of green.

Risk & Reward, Long hitters will attempt to drive the green over tree's on left-hand side, ideally long iron or wood to leave yourself a short iron to a 2 tier Green, guarded by a bunker on the left. Beware Out of Bounds awaits if you over hit this Green.

This hole presents little trouble off tee (only out of bounds running right) along the railway line, so big hitters are able to open the shoulders to leave a wedge for their 2nd to a narrow green, but beware water left & bunker front of Green, with a big tree obscuring the bunker.

Signature Hole, what a beauty, but plays very tricky. Forest Left and a Pond up the middle to the left-hand side of a 3 tier Green. club selection is the key if you want a Par, as it is very easy to three -putt this green as the putting surface slopes deceptively from back to front and left to right.

"Lets go Rory", only 315yds. but,but, 2 tier green guarded by pond on right, & long grass (you'll be lucky) left & rear. Above the Pin (forget it). Below will get you Par, and then run to the next tee.

Straight as a dye, except OB on right, and tree's on left. Bunkers guard 2 tier green left & right, with fall off at rear, which would leave you a difficult up & down. If you are ‘going well’, it is worth a walk up to the green to determine the pin position, as three putting is commonplace here.

Another straight as a dye, but exceptionally long, except tree's left & right of fairway tee shot, with fairway bunker 130yds from green. The slightly elevated green, which is protected by a lone bunker, on the left and fall off on the right & rear is difficult to hit and hold.

A make or break par 5. A left of center tee shot will kick the ball to the right, setting up a second shot depending on ability and ambition, the golfer must decide to either lay-up or attack a green guarded by ponds at front & rear, & bunkers left & right. Ideally tee shot just right of pond, positional 2nd shot, leaving a short iron to a fairly flat green. Birdie opportunity, but PAR is good.
