This is a newly formatted competition which, which gives club committees a great opportunity to meet and share ideas, has replaced the previous separate events that were held by the Leinster Region for their men’s and women’s club committees. The event now comprises of both men and women from the same club playing together on a team. Each club sends four players from their committee to represent their club. The two best Stableford scores on each hole counted for a team.
Each location showed great scoring from all teams with close results. The highest overall score across all venues came from the team of Jim Russell, Mick Seery, Maura O’Doherty and Nuala Kavanagh from Newbridge with an outstanding score of 98 points.
