Newbridge Golf Club is privately owned, and is situated in Barrettstown, County Kildare, Ireland. It is an 18-hole Parkland Course that was designed by Pat Suttle, and opened in 1995. If you like trees, you will love Newbridge, with more than 40,000 planted (including Japanese larch, cedars of Lebanon and Norwegian Maple), contributing to the calm atmosphere. Wildlife -- complete with Herons, Moorhens, Kingfisher & Wild Ducks -- abound on the golf course. The first nine holes are dominated by the Hill of Allen, the third and sixth dance around the Bog of Allen, and holes around the turn are especially challenging, with water hazards a particular worry. With water coming into play on no less than thirteen holes you will do well to finish with the same ball you started with, yet it is a fair test of golf for both the low and high handicapper. All Visitors are assured of a Warm Welcome, so when you have finished your round of golf, come and relax in our Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant, with panoramic view of the Course, especially the 1st & 10th Tee Boxes & 12th Green.
